Broadcast Experience:
In 2005, I wrote and directed the full-length feature film, The Untrue Story of Terry Meiners. The film received second place honors at the Bellarmine University film festival. It was spotlighted in the Echo newspaper and mentioned on The Terry Meiners Show on WHAS radio. The acme of the film’s success was when a copy was hand delivered to Cameron Crowe. He held the disc in his hands for a moment before passing it off to his assistant who stuffed into her purse at lightning speed, never to be seen again.
Several years later, in the early months of 2008, I collaborated with former OVW trainer Eric to create MARKOUTONLINE, an innovative wrestling talk show utilizing video in the place of the traditional audio only format. The program has grown rapidly in fan base and viewership, currently standing at over 7,000 video views from countries on every continent (except for Antartica; which doesn't count). Highlights of the show include in-depth interviews with BBC award winning broadcaster and OVW wrestler Martin Evans and former OVW and WWE wrestler Demond Thompson. MARKOUTONLINE has also covered local wrestling-related events including an exercise demonstration by local MMA fighters and Hands On Health and the grand opening of Lisa Marie Varon’s (WWE’s Victoria) auto shop.
